They'd both be composite, but the monitor I've done all the tweaking/stretching positioning for my Apple 2 so it might be real weird compared to the tv. Ill play, on a real IIe + Mockingboard and on AppleWin. The border is hard to tell on real hardware - I'll need to hook mine up to a TV rather than a composite monitor to see how it compares. You can also set AppleWin to runheadless , which will only send the video to the Companion and reduce computer resource usage.
Then launch AppleWin Companion, load the profile of your choice, and play the game.
